The word quotient indicates division. This shows that we need to divide 207 by n.

This can be written two ways:

[tex] \frac{207}{n} [/tex]

or 

[tex]207[/tex] ÷ [tex]n[/tex]

Both would be considered correct, although most teachers prefer the first one.
