Write the converse of this statement.

If 3 - 2 x = 13, then x = -5.

The general form of a conditional is: If P, then Q
The converse form is: If Q, then P

We swap the positions of P and Q. 
P = the equation 3-2x=13
Q = the equation x = -5

So swapping P and Q gets us this answer
If x = -5, then 3-2x = 13
