Fiji Hindi is the language mostly spoken by Fijian People of Indian descent. This language came from Awadhi and Bhojpuri varieties of Hindi.  It was the Indians who were the contracted laborers who spoke different languages like Hindi that were bought to different district of Fiji. Later on, Fiji developed a combined language of their dialect and Hindi dialect. Those Indian laborers and Fiji people who worked together for the long time developed new language that resulted to Fiji Hindi.
