no, i don't think they can To put it simply, permieter is the distance around a two dimensional shape , Because squares are equal on all side, different size of squares will definitely change the perimeter. (one of the square will definitely placed inside another, the one with longer sides will had greater area)Hope this helps. Let me know if you need additional help!
