y= mx +b



Let’s sub to solve for b

-1 = (1/5)(-4)+b
b= -0.2 which is the same as 1/5


Answer is:

Y= 1/5x + 1/5

The way to check is to draw the first point. Your rise is 1 and your run is 5 and see where your next point is and where does it intersect with the y axis.
