How do you determine the numbers of zeros to annex in the product of .002 and .003

by counting the total number of places after the decimal point in both decimals. For this problem an easy way to do it is multiply 2x3 which is 6, count the total number of places after the decimal points 6, then annex 5 zeros cause you need 6 total places.
