There are many reasons why you might want to include more than just facts in an expository writing. While most of your text should be fact-based, sometimes you can elaborate on these facts by adding your opinion. You can also elaborate by using about literary devices that provide vivid descriptions or examples. These elements make a text easier to understand and more enjoyable to read.
