Since they already gave you the variables’ values just plug in.
4 + 3(6) - 4(5 - 3)
First solve what is inside the parenthesis.
4 + 3(6) - 4(2)
Then simplify.
4 + 18 - 8
Use PEMDAS.
Parenthesis
Exponents
Multiplication
Division
Addition

4 + 18 = 22
22 - 8 = 14
The answer is 14.
Hope I helped:)
