Southeast Region is known for its mild climate, southern-style cuisine and friendly people. The culture is very hospitable and welcoming to visitors, and the landscape shows much diversity. Balmy beaches and palm trees are found along the coast, and mountains capped in snow are found more inland. Country music, rock and roll, and jazz have their homes in the Southeast.
