The equation "y=mx+b"  is the slope-intercept forme of a line with slope "m" and y-interceptept (0,b)

In this case:
y=2x+5;
the slope "m" will be equato to : "2".

Answer: the slope is 2.

So,
y=2x+5
The gradient is 2
