y = -2x + 5

Slope of this line m₁ = 1/2

Slope of the line perpendicular to this line = m₂

m₁ *m₂ = -1

m₂ = -1 *2/1 = -2

Slope  = -2; (1,3)

y- y₁ = m(x-x₁)

y - 3 = -2(x - 1)

y - 3 = -2x + 2

y = -2x +2 +3

y = -2x + 5
