The differences between nerve cells and muscle cells are the following:

The muscle cells are voluntary while the nerve cells are involuntary.

They vary in shape. The muscle cells are cylindrical while the nerve cells are composed of different parts.

Muscle cells are easy to repair while the nerve cells take longer and are much harder to repair.
