How does the rutherford model describe the structure of atoms

Explanation:

In the Rutherford gold foil experiment it was observed, that the Thomson atom model was not correct. Rutherford thought that the results of this experiment could only be explained if there were supposed to be strong concentrations of positive charge in the atom. Thus, postulates the existence of the atomic nucleus with a huge concentration of positive charge , where most of its mass is also concentrated.
