Which is the denominator and which is the numerator?

Hey there!

The numerator is the top part of the fraction and the denominator is the bottom part of the fraction. 

For example, in the fraction [tex] \frac{1}{2} [/tex] , 1 would be the numerator and 2 would be the denominator.
