Dana's workday is 10 hours and Monique's workday is 8 hours. On Monday, Dana groomed 15 dogs in 10 hours and Monique 10 dogs in 8 hours. They each earn $12.75 for each dog groomed. Assuming that for the rest of the week Dana and Monique groom the same number of dogs per workday as they did on Monday, what will be the difference between their weekly earning?

On Monday Dana earned: 15*12.75 in 10 hours

For 40 hours Dana will earn: 15*12.75*(40/10) = $765

On Monday Monique earned: 10*12.75

For 40 hours Monique will earn: 10*12.75*(40/8) = $637.50

The difference between the weekly earnings is: $765 - $637.50 = $127.50.
