If thei are perpendicular their slopes will be the opposite inverse of each other, so if the slope of line m is -3 the slope of line p will be [tex][(-3).(-1)]^{-1}[/tex] = [tex]3^{-1}[/tex]=[tex]\frac{1}{3}[/tex]
