The half life of the material does not increase with the amount of material present. It actually decreases over time no matter how large the quantity is present. The answer is letter B. For example if a gram of carbon-20 undergoes half life reaction, after 20 seconds only half a gram remain, after 40 seconds, a quarter gram will be left and so on.
