4.8 to 12 ounces would have to be my answer

2.4 ounces :    6 ounces.

0.4 :  1  Change 0.4 to fraction

4/10 : 1  Multiply through by 10.

4 : 10    Divide through by 2.

2: 5

The ratio is 2:5.
