Is your child or teen angry all the time, hiding things, withdrawn, or acting out? I specialize in helping kids, teens, and young adults facing depression, trauma, and grief.

I believe everyone has their own strengths that make them who they are today. In order to be successful in therapy, the client and therapist both have a job- mine is to meet you where you’re at and understand you as best I can, and yours is to be open to that process. Then we can collaboratively change the behaviors and beliefs that are keeping you stuck. Change does not happen overnight, but it can be achieved through a persistent effort to move forward each day. I’m committed to cultivating a judgment-free environment where you feel safe and accepted. I welcome clients from the LGBTQIA+ community, as I am passionate about helping this population navigate self-harm, self-esteem, or suicidal ideation.

I am a Social Worker who earned my master’s degree from the University of St. Francis. I have experience working with children, adolescents, individuals, and families from various backgrounds struggling with depression, suicide, anxiety, abuse, trauma, grief, anger, behavior disorders, and more. I have worked in a school setting and with other organizations, such as AMITA Health, to help improve housing and financial assistance, and with the Department of Child and Family Services.

It is an honor to potentially be you or your child’s therapist, and I hope to be part of your success story. It can be challenging to find people that match your energy, but healing begins when you find that feeling. Email me below for a free consultation to see if we can be that match!
