As a black mental health counselor, I understand the unique challenges faced by black men in Washington and Idaho. If you're feeling stuck in life, as if you're constantly in motion but not truly moving forward, it's time to break free from the cycle. Admitting you need help is a courageous first step, and I'm here to support you on your journey towards a healthier, happier life.

My dedication to providing evidence-based, trauma-informed, person-centered care is rooted in cultural competency and the relationship between thoughts, emotions, physiological sensations, and behavior. I have extensive experience in various mental health settings, including private practice, community mental health, inpatient psychiatric services, and residential mental health services.

In my practice, I prioritize Intentional Growth, embracing outgrowing limitations and fostering authenticity in the pursuit of progress. By focusing on Sustainable Solutions, I address the root causes of problems and practice wisdom in prioritization. I uphold Resolute Sincerity, recognizing personal boundaries and embracing vulnerability while tackling uncertainty.

My therapeutic process follows a three-phase cycle (K.A.P): Knowledge, Application, and Proficiency. We start by clearly defining your therapeutic goals, then explore and test tools that may be helpful for you. Finally, we fine-tune your progress and provide you with a personalized "DIY" plan for maintaining your growth beyond therapy. My goal is to empower you to graduate from my services, as I believe that effective, trauma-informed care should not require a lifetime of continued support.

If you're a black man in Washington or Idaho seeking to overcome mental health challenges, join me in finding your own path, embracing the journey of self-discovery, and cultivating the connections necessary for personal growth. Together, let's redefine what it means to be strong and create a supportive space where we can thrive.
