As a Therapist, my approach is eclectic in working with individuals, utilizing different theoretical approaches to therapy to serve adolescents to adults because I understand that each individual is the expert of their experiences, and each process is unique to them. I have worked with those who have experienced trauma, struggles with anger, depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationships, self-esteem and identity, and overall life stressors. I also help those recognize the intersectionality between race, masculinity, oppressive systems, violence, trauma, and trauma reactions seen in young boys and young men, while also holding space and supporting those in their personal healing.

I believe in the genuine power and impact of therapy in order to unpack the life stressors people come across, discover new strengths and increase self awareness by creating a safe, trusting, and supportive environment. I have always been passionate about helping others, and being of service. I lead from an empathetic and supportive approach that is person-centered and authentic, while honoring the humanity in each person I work with. I have worked Nationally to increase the knowledge around mental health and change the narrative around the stigmas of mental health among people of color in order to help those normalize, but also embrace the therapeutic process and the healing journey.

I look forward to working with you!
