Conceived by a yearning to occupy spaces where there is need, it is my intention to honor your self-determination while collaborating with you on your journey. I intend to work with you in creating a place for inner work; an invitation to unabashedly examine oneself.

I practice using an eclectic approach; meaning therapy is guided by your individual need(s) and unique motivation(s). My eclectic approach to talk therapy uses mostly psychodynamic, Somatic Experiencing® Therapy, and rational emotive (and other) behavioral therapies. A Psychodynamic approach seeks to examine past experiences that result in negative cycles of thought(s) and behavior(s). Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy seeks to change limiting underlying beliefs that disrupt the present ability to thrive. An additional approach to therapy is somatic which means we will work together to help you understand the language of your body and learn new tools for emotional wellbeing. Somatic Experiencing® is a method of rebalancing the nervous system from the effects of trauma. It utilizes the body’s innate processing and healing systems to release stored trauma and return to a more desirable way of living.

In all matters of self-work and discovery, your autonomy and ethical treatment are of the highest priority for the creation of a therapeutic environment.
