Many of us struggle in silence as we attempt to maneuver through this thing called life, and many of us don't reach out for support because we tell ourselves 'I have to be strong', or maybe we think 'If I don't think about it, it will just go away eventually.' During these uncertain times we may be faced with additional challenges, on top of our already existing stressors, and perhaps fearful of the future and what is to come. Sometimes the best way to conquer these obstacles is to face them head-on, but what happens then? Mental health issues can look different for everyone, and sometimes we feel powerless to combat the problems. Each of us has the ability to identify, set, and achieve goals related to our mental health, even when it seems impossible: sometimes the hardest step forward is the first one. We are all works in progress, and continue to face challenges and stressors along the way. I am here to aid in your journey and to provide a supportive and a safe space to explore and learn about yourself. Sometimes it feels as if the weight of the world is on our shoulders and there is no hope...but I'm here to remind you that there is.

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist primarily utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Attachment Theory as foundations to treatment, however, my personal approach is eclectic overall as to individualize treatment to the specific needs of the client. I treat both adolescents and adults, focusing on trauma, relationships, sex & intimacy, cultural identity , mood disorders, self-improvement, and overall mental health and well-being.

Life can be overwhelming and difficult sometimes, and we have to remind ourselves that we are worth the time, space, and effort to improve our quality of life, and be the best versions of ourselves.
