  • Kareem Puranda is a Board Certified, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist. His natural gift of helping people, initially lead him to a career in law enforcement.

However, Kareem saw a dire need for counseling within the agency and the multi-cultural communities he patrolled. He transitioned into counseling to better serve the public. As a qualified therapist, he has vast experience working with multicultural populations and working with outpatient and residential treatment programs.

Working several years with adults and adolescents battling addiction and mental health problems, Kareem realized his greatest joy came from inspiring underserved youth to be great despite their circumstances.

Kareem uses integrative approaches to meet clients where they are. His philosophy and approach invite clients to think outside the box. He is an empathic counselor who views every client with an unconditional positive regard. His commitment and sincerity in helping clients solve life challenges, make him trustworthy in the therapeutic relationship
