We are all given a blank sheet in the beginning. What we choose to put on this blank sheet determines our outcome. The life experiences that have “filled my pages” have shaped me into who I am today. My endurance of difficult times and my willingness to persevere in the face of obstacles makes me unique. I was born in the United States raised in the Christian Faith. My ethnic background is Jamaican American, I attended Medgar Evers College and graduated in 2019, I also attend Alfred University and my expected graduation is in June.
I'm trained in Stress management, (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) CBT approach, Adlerian approach, Grief, psycho educational, goal oriented) approach. I work with middle childhood (age 6-12), adolescence (age 13-17), adults and older adults.
Clients say that I am approachable, empathetic, non-judgmental and an active listener. I truly believe that mental health is wealth!
