I utilize a collaborative approach, providing a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to be able to openly express themselves and work through challenges that may be interfering with them reaching their goals. I seek to help clients better understand their circumstances, clarify their goals and values, notice/modify thought patterns as needed, and learn different techniques to use to better address concerns or challenges of note.
I have a wide range of experience working with adults with various mental health challenges. In particular, I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, complicated life transitions, stressors related to work/school, relationship issues, impacts of cultural/racial conflict, and self-esteem/image concerns. My clinical approach is eclectic, integrating a range of evidence-based practice methods (cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance commitment therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness practices, etc). I am currently only doing telehealth (virtual) sessions.
