I remember when I started looking for a counselor. I knew things were not right but I wondered were they so bad that I needed to go to a stranger for help. After tossing around the idea in my head I worked up the courage to start calling people. Most counselors never returned my call which was frustrating and disheartening. Still, I held out a tiny shred of hope and found myself sitting on someone’s couch looking at my life.

I am always in amazement when I think about what it takes for someone to be brave enough to start counseling. I know what it took for me so it's truly humbling when someone gives me that trust. If you dream about making life better and more fulfilling then reach out. However bad things are right now, let's get you unstuck. You may desire freedom from depression, bad relationships or low confidence. Whatever it is, it's okay to hope and want better.
