Hi I am Jack Cottom a licensed professional counselor. I have been practicing psychotherapy for the past 10 years. I am native Philadelphian however have traveled quite a bit. Its actually one of my passions! I identify as a Black American male of African descent which gives me a certain perspective and experience of the world. I have a lot of experience working with folks who share my gender, ethnic, and racial make up as well as experience working with folks from many different demographics. I am open to working with anyone who is vested in healing and working through personal issues.

I believe counseling is hugely powerful because through the relationship you are able to gain some awareness about yourself, learn some skills, and implement those skills to live the life that you ultimately want to live.

My goal in my practice is to assist you with addressing the 'thing' that has you stuck in a certain place whether is a way of thinking and/or behaving, trauma , or lack of knowledge and/or skill. Again, my goal is to get you up, moving, and operating at your best levels AND most importantly feeling better!
