Helodia Dastiné specializes in individual therapy with a psychoanalytical lens while combining herbalism to help assist with healing. She is trained in Psychoanalysis, Dialectical Behavior therapy, (DBT), Trauma-informed Care, (TIC), Harm Reduction, and Holistic/Spiritual practices which provide the opportunity to educate clients on a myriad of ways to find healing. She copilots her clients' journeys toward greater awareness of self. She also has experience working with BIPOC, LGBTQAI, AOD, mood disorders, and HIV populations.
As a Haitian- American woman, my worldview lens has been created in a way where I noticed the lack of education of mental health and the deprioritization of it which have led to generational suffering. I want to be an individual that takes part in the healing of generational burdens.

Therapy is a journey, as the late Nipsey Hussle would say, "it's a marathon, not a race." However, in this regard, it's a marathon...a journey to greater awareness of self. As your therapist, I will respect your pace within the therapeutic alliance but I may also challenge you. You are the pilot to your internal growth so I allow the space for you to tell me your story, and with that, we will begin to explore your world.
