I work with couples because I have been married for over 20 years and know some of the challenges and rewards of being in a stable relationship. Also, as a child of divorce I understand some of the damage and trauma a broken relationship can bring to children. In particular I draw upon spiritual traditions to use as strengths to maintain family relationships. As an adoptive parent I also understand how the traumas our children face can impact a couples relationship. My goal is to use all of my expertise, tools, and experience to help you build and maintain a thriving relationship.
As a hospice chaplain I have walked with people through grief and loss. Because of my mother’s death along with several other family members, I have experienced that sense of fog or not knowing what to do after a major loss. Whether you are dealing with the loss of a loved one, a change in health status, or are going through some type of transition I will walk with you as we navigate that experience.
