Edewor Ben Osevwe is a Board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years in the psychiatry field ranging from working in the inpatient settings to managerial, outpatient and telepsychiatry.
His humble beginning started as a nursing assistant in a memory care nursing home. He proceeded to inpatient mental health after completing his Registered Nursing degree. After many years of bedside services as a registered nurse and after working with all ages of client living with mental illness, it became clearer that his calling, passion, and vocation is to do more for those struggling with mental illness.
He went on to receive his Master of Science in Nursing with emphasis in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Across Life Span. He has worked with acute inpatient clients in crisis and outpatient clients.
To him, mental health is a calling, a vocation for service. His passion is to avail himself to those living with mental illness with limited access to care. He has a deal of respect for his clients. He is committed in meeting his client where they are and partake in their journey to healing. He believes psychotherapy and healthy living style has a place in the healing process.
