Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas, trained to work with adolescents and adults with differing degrees of emotional and behavioral issues. I believe in taking a holistic approach to counseling, which means viewing the person in their entirety. Whatever the presenting problem, it is part of a bigger picture and is connected to other aspects of the client's life. My goal is to create a positive therapeutic environment, assist the client with gaining insight, and collaborate on strategies to overcome the presenting problem. Finding a therapist you feel comfortable with is very important.

I completed my PhD in Counseling at Texas A&M University-Commerce. My approach is based on gaining insight, exploring subconscious motivations, and highlighting the connections between thoughts-feelings-actions and past experiences. In addition to my office in Addison (Dallas), I provide virtual counseling to adult clients in Austin & Houston.
When working with adults, I create an egalitarian relationship, where our joint efforts create a plan of action. I understand the beauty & unique complications of being an African American man, and believe that our culture plays a major role in our development.

I typically can respond faster to email. Looking forward to connecting!
