I have over 8 years of experience working in the helping field. My journey started working at an inpatient treatment facility with substance abuse and mental health. I was able to gather an appreciation for a person's story and meeting them where they are. I have also worked at the outpatient and intensive outpatient(IOP) levels. I recently started my practice to use my experience, education, and knowledge to assist clients of diverse backgrounds to find support and growth. I specialize in anxiety, depression, co-occurring(mental health/substance use), major life changes/transitions, stress management, developing coping skills, and many other diagnoses. Diagnosis is a portion of treatment. It is my goal to assist clients in understanding/appreciating the entire journey of their life. My diverse background personally and professionally has provided me the opportunity to be able to connect with clients and assist them with identifying their strengths/goals. It is my goal to bring therapy to Pennsylvania with a focus on inner cities and make improving mental health a priority. I also want mental health support and mindfulness to be an accessible support to all.. I build my practice and reputation on acceptance and support. Creating a nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe to explore challenges and grow is important.
