Dr. Bryant K. Woodford earned his Doctor of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Eastern University in St. Davids, PA. Dr. Bryant’s doctoral studies emphasized clinical expertise in narrative therapy including training from the Vancouver School of Narrative Therapy in Vancouver, British Columbia. While he is verse in several therapeutic modalities, the narrative therapeutic approach he utilizes targets marginalized persons as they seek to create a new and more promising personal narrative. Dr. Bryant provides mental health services to groups, couples, families, and individuals.

Dr. Bryant also earned a Master of Divinity degree from Lancaster Theological Seminary in Lancaster, PA. Dr. Bryant has worked intentionally to integrate his theological and psychological training to help clients address both their spiritual and mental health needs. His integration of theology and psychology also lends itself to assisting queer clients with reconciling their spirituality with their sexuality. Additionally, he is certified as a Transgender Care Professional (TCP) through the International Transgender Certification Association in Miami Shores, FL.

Dr. Bryant is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Washington, DC and is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). He is also ordained clergy with The Fellowship of Affirming Ministries (TFAM).
