Is your mental health a barrier to achieving your goals? I can relate. I’ve been there. My 32 years in long-term recovery and a co-occurring mental health condition combined with my 16 years of professional experience as a Credentialed Substance Abuse and Alcoholism Counselor provides me with a unique combination of tools to help you overcome the challenges that prevent you from working towards your potential.
By using what I’ve learned through this experience I can help you along your life journey. There are particular advantages of getting help from someone “who’s been there” and I am able to do that.
Not only can I help you with your life goals, but I can also help you in your career path, whether it be in leadership or simply landing that next job up the ladder. As your coach, I will take a strengths-based approach to help you get to the next level and hold you accountable. Sometimes we need someone to keep us focused on our goals.
I’m the author of two books, Leadership Through the Lens of the 12 Steps and Working on Wellness: A Practical Guide to Mental Health. I’m also a 2019 graduate of the Health Leadership Fellows Program (sponsored by the Health Foundation of Western and Central New York). My background also includes education on trauma, which is known to be a significant risk factor in mental health and addiction disorders.
I believe that each person has the ability to go beyond their self-perceived limitations. With the proper guidance and support, I can help you do that.
